Carol Young is an Australian born jewelry designer based out of Austin TX - known for her unique One of a Kind Leather Necklaces / Chokers / Bracelets. The music she listens to has always inspired her work, and for Young, the creation of a leather piece is an artistic creative process. She was initially inspired by the Australian Pub-Rock scene of the early 80’s now brought together with an easy-to-wear classic style look. What started out as designing pieces for herself when Young couldn’t shop the looks herself, she finally found her creative niche through trial and error…. She says she’s still evolving all the time.
designAUST with its unique style has been sought out for photo shoots, live performances, and public appearances by fellow artists including Lady Gaga, Method Man and Karen Fairchild (Little Big Town).
